The fine print

These terms govern your use of the Loam Moto app. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. Please read the safety sections carefully: Loam Moto helps you plan maintenance, but it is not a substitute for professional service advice or a certified safety device.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Loam Moto on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial ride and maintenance tracking. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app, or attempt to reverse engineer it except to the extent the law allows.

Trial, unlock, and activation

Loam Moto includes a free 30-day trial. After the trial, you can unlock the app with a one-time $14.99 purchase. Activation codes, if offered, are for the account or device they were issued to and may not be shared or resold. Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms; we do not receive your payment card data.

Service intervals are estimates, not professional advice

Loam Moto calculates service intervals from your hours and kilometres using conservative, general manufacturer guidance. These figures are estimates to help you plan and are not professional maintenance advice. Always verify against your motorcycle's official owner's manual and service schedule, and have work carried out or checked by a qualified mechanic. Riding conditions, load, and use change real wear. You are responsible for keeping your motorcycle in a safe, roadworthy condition.

Fall detection and SOS are not a certified safety device

If Loam Moto includes a fall-detection or SOS feature, it is a convenience aid, not a certified emergency or safety device and not an emergency service. This is a planned feature and may not be present in your version of the app. When available, it relies on your phone's sensors, battery, signal, and permissions, and it can miss a real incident or trigger a false alarm. Do not rely on it as your only means of calling for help. Always ride within your limits, carry appropriate safety gear, and use an independent emergency plan. We are not responsible for any missed, delayed, or false alert.

Ride safely

Do not operate or interact with your phone while riding. Start, stop, and review rides while stopped and safely off the road. Obey all traffic laws and ride within your ability and conditions. Your safety and the safety of others always comes before any feature of this app.

Provided as is

Loam Moto is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its calculations will be accurate for your specific motorcycle or riding.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you actually paid for it.

No manufacturer affiliation

Loam Moto is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any motorcycle manufacturer. Manufacturer names and models are used only to identify your equipment and to reference general service guidance.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and the competent courts of Israel have jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits or waives any mandatory consumer-protection, privacy, or other rights that cannot legally be waived under the law that applies to you. Where Israeli statutory consumer rights apply, they prevail over anything inconsistent in these terms.
